A little boy got on the bus, sat next to a man reading a book, and noticed he had his collar on backwards. The little boy asked why he wore his collar that way.

The man, who was a priest, said, " I am a Father."

The little boy replied, "My Daddy doesn't wear his collar like that."

The priest looked up from his book and answered "I am the Father of many."

The boy said, "My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two grandchildren and he doesn't wear his collar that way."

The priest, getting impatient, said, "I am the Father of hundreds." and went back to reading his book.

The little boy sat quietly thinking for a while, then leaned over and said, "Maybe you should wear your pants backwards instead of your collar."

Angel Atop Tree

Do you know the story of how an angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree? It goes like this...

It was Christmas Eve, Santa Claus was very cross. Not even one thing went right. Mrs. Claus had burnt all the Christmas biscuits. The elves were complaining about not getting paid for the overtime job they had to do while making toys and gifts. And the reindeer had been drinking all afternoon and were dead drunk. To make things worse, they had taken the sleigh out for a bit of a spin and crashed it into a tree.

Santa Claus was furious, "I can't believe it!!! I've got to deliver millions of gifts around the world in just a few hours. But the elves are on strike, and the reindeer are drunk, and I don't even have a Christmas Tree! I sent the stupid angel out ages ago to get a tree and he hasn't come back yet! What am I going to do?!"

At that very moment the slouchy angel kicked open the door, and stepped in from the snowy night, dragging in the Christmas Tree and said, "Yo! Fat Man! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?!"

And, as you know, that's how the tradition of an angel atop Christmas Tree came to pass from then on.
